Apple Ipods Made in Chinese Sweatshops?

According to allegations in this post, the super-popular Apple Ipod is assembled in Chinese factories by workers who are paid $50 a month.  Hopefully, this is all a big misunderstanding.  However, judging by the Chinese labor standards, it could be true.
