Firefox Gains on Internet Explorer
Net Applications says that Firefox’s share of the browser market increased in November.
Usage of Mozilla’s Firefox browser was up to 13.5% of web browsers and that is up about 0.5% from October.
Microsoft Internet Explorer still holds a commanding lead with about 80%, but overall, they are losing about 5% to Firefox, Opera and Safari this year alone.
Our server logs indicate that 46% of our traffic is from Internet Explorer browsers, 44% is from Firefox and the other +/-10% is from Safari, Opera, Camino and even Avant. So, our percentages show more of a Firefox following than most sites, I suppose.
