There are tons of free programs and web sites designed to help you get on the path with great software and blogging tips.

Louiss at Blogging Secret created a list of his top 3 blogging helpers out there.

He recommends Blogger and that is a very popular options for beginners. It offers a very simple interface and easy ways to “monetize” your blog with Google Adsense. We use Wordpress, which is another free piece of software. However, you need to have your own blog host setup to use Wordpress whereas Blogger will host everything for you for free.
