Third Flaw Found in Microsoft Word
Wow, I should just copy the previous Microsoft Word flaw post and save all this typing. But, I am a glutton for punishment, although my fingers will probably object ;).
Anyway, apparently there has been another vulnerability discovered in Microsoft Word. Several websites have reported on the latest flaw and good ‘ol eEye is tracking it. In addition, the exploit code has been published for all to see.
To clarify, this is the third vulnerability discovered this month. The first Word flaw was mentioned last week. The second was discovered earlier this week. So, this makes number 3. Hopefully, this is the last. Yeah…right.
I am not re-typing the list of precautions that you should take until these flaws are patched (my fingers are voicing their pleasure with that decision ;)). If you don’t know already, check either of those previous posts for the details.
