Yahoo Inc. has agreed to a multiyear deal which will feature its Internet search on all Acer personal computers. Acer is the 4th ranked computer notebook maker in the world and is Europe’s top supplier of PC notebooks.

The deal was announced on Wednesday and Acer said it will feature Yahoo as the default search for users of the Internet Explorer browser. Acer will also encourage users to use other Yahoo services such as financial services, mail and news.

When an Acer customer opens the web browser on a new laptop or desktop, they will see links to Yahoo sports, music and other features in addition to financial, mail and news.
