CCT Completes Web Site for North Carolina Non-Profit »
Earlier this week, we put the finishing touches on the new web site for Lenoir / Greene Partnership for Children. They are a non-profit entity dedicated to the education of pre-school children in Lenoir and Greene Counties in North Carolina.
We created a custom Content Management System for them so that they could update the site themselves and are in the process of training them to use it.
We also designed their new logo for them and they have had lots of positive feedback from that already. Go to the site and check out what we have done.
If you are in the market for a new web site (or a re-design of what you currently have) let us know and we will be happy to discuss that with you. View our online web design portofolio for some of our recent projects and then use our web design contact form to request more information.
Ok, I Need a Website. What Now? »
Once upon a time, a business could choose not to have a web site. They reasoned that they did not need a professional web site; they could do just fine without one. Then, one of their competitors decided to get a web site and a buzz was created. Not to be outdone, another competitor decided to follow suite. Then another and then another. Pretty soon customers were asking the business if they had a web site. Finally, they realized that they needed a website in order to keep up with their competitors. And so, the Internet exploded. These days, everyone has a web site. From large corporations to small businesses; families to individuals, everyone is on the Web. A friend of mine even created one for his infant child.
This article is created to speak to the few remaining businesses that have yet to tackle the Internet beast. You want to have a web presence, but it seems a daunting task. “Where do I start?” you say. “What issues will I need to address so that I make the most of my new web site?” you continue. This brief article will cover some of the areas of the webdesign process to pay particular attention to. We have designed many web sites for clients that had no idea where to start. We firmly believe that client education is a vital part of the overall success of the web project. Most professional web design companies have published some guidelines that will help potential clients answer some of their questions. It is with that in mind that we have written this article. Automatically write .htaccess files »
If you have never heard of .htaccess files, this post is not for you. However, if you use Apache and if you are like me, .htaccess files are a pain. Some people can write them in their sleep with one hand tied behind their back while reciting the alphabet backwards and they work like a dream. Not me. Here is this really handy tool that will walk you through the entire process. Fill out the form and *poof* your .htaccess file is generated.
New Web Site Completed for Local ISP »
CCT has completed creation of the new web site for My Net Rocks Internet Service of Swansboro, North Carolina. They wanted a new web design over which they had total control. We created a totally new look to their web site with all new features. Additionally, we created a custom CMS (Content Management System) to allow them to make changes to their website content. With our custom CMS, if you can type in a word processing program, you can update your web site. Click on the image below to visit their new site and then contact Kim and Chris to find out what they think.
Then, check our Web Design portfolio for more examples of our work.
