New Google Trademarks
Google has applied for a new Trademark which is related to one of their newest domains: Indexbench. Additionally, they have registered several other related domains recently:
- bench-index.com (and .org, .info)
- benchindex.com (and .org, .info)
- index-bench.com (and .org, .info)
- indexbench.com (and .org, .info, .net)
Also, Google filled out the paperwork for a new trademark for the term Indexbench (here is a link to the actual documents on record)
Of course, there is plenty of speculation as to what Google could be up to. Phillip Lenssen is keeping tabs on things:
What could Google IndexBench be? (Something like the Alexa Web Search Platform, a more powerful Google Web Search API… or a place to roll your own search results, as Garett Rogers suggest?)
We may not know for quite some time, but it is always fun to try and guess ![]()
