PayPerPost Aquires Performancing.com

PayPerPost (possibly trying to get in one last tax write-off this year) has shelled out some money for some of Performancing.com. Performancing has been around since 2005 and has quickly become a valuable resource for bloggers.

PPP gets Performancing Metrics which is a free service tailored for bloggers to track visitor stats, including AdSense auditing, for their blogs and Performancing Exchange which is a free online marketplace for companies, blog sites and others wishing to employ professional bloggers.

Performancing is also responsible for the Firefox plugin that allows a blogger to post to his/her blog on the fly. It is a pretty sweet plugin BUT it was not included as part of the package to PayPerPost.

Also not included in the deal was the Performancing Partners ad technology.
