- Mozilla wants to set a new world record for the highest number of downloads in one 24-hour period. If you visit their site, you can make your pledge to download when told and get… um… nothing – except a great web browser!
I visited Guinness World Records to try to find out the current record holder, but couldn’t find anything on record. If memory serves, I think it was the Netscape Browser when it was originally released and going head-to-head with Internet Explorer.
Anyway, I signed up with Mozilla and the numbers are quickly approaching a million.
