Dell buys Alienware

Bad news for all you Alienware Gaming PC Fans out there. Dell and Alienware have just announced that Dell has aquired Alienware. Though Dell states that they will not interfere with Alienwares production of computers and Alienware machines will NOT wear the Dell badge. The only intention Dell has with the beloved Gaming PC company is to improve it’s supply chain. I as many hope that’s all Dell does. Alienware has been known to be the greatest and the best among the PC Industry. Dell on the other hand is known for providing low cost cheap machines.

On another intesting note about this merger is Dell’s faithfulness towards Intel and Alienware siding with AMD. How will this affect the Dell/Intel relationship? or even the Alienware/AMD Relationship?. We will see how this all turns out, wether or not Dell will keep their word to Alienware is another question. Remember, Dell and Alienware didn’t merge. Dell aquired Alienware.
