In an effort to offer Local business something more on Yahoo search, Yahoo has rolled out Local ads.
These Yahoo! Local ads will appear at the top and bottoms of search pages in the Yahoo! Local section. Business had supposedly been asking Yahoo to integrate an easy way to place local ads that would drive foot traffic to their shops, and phone calls.
The ads start at $29.95 per month, and all depend on the business category and location. The ads at the top of the page remain at a higher price, while ads on the bottom are available for a discounted rate.
