With the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament (aka March Madness) right around the corner, you better get your tickets now if you want to attend. But, beware of e-scams.
The FBI warned about Super Bowl ticket e-scams in January and in that warning, they mentioned that the fraudulent selling of tickets for major events is a continuing epidemic.
One thing that should cause you to think twice is if you are instructed to wire payment for the tickets in order to hold them. The Super Bowl scam used fraudulent escrow services to register and then instructed the victim to wire payment for the tickets.
