Apple says it takes the allegations of an “Ipod city” very seriously and is continuing its investigation, according to Businessweek. The Chinese contractor which makes the Ipod’s for Apple has admitted to breaking labor laws regarding overtime but continues to deny the other allegations. Apple is conducting employee interviews in an attempt to thoroughly investigate everything.
However, Apple may now face a public which is highly skeptical of “corporate language” and could have a hard time convincing folks to accept the auditors’ final verdict.
