Portable Firefox Browser

July 21, 2006

So…you are traveling to spend a few days with relatives (hooray). While you are there, you use their computer to access the Internet. But, they are still using Internet Explorer 8O. They have not yet switched to Firefox, like you. So how will you get all of your Firefox bookmarks, extensions and saved passwords?

Never fear! PortableApps has created a version of the Firefox browser that can be downloaded and launched from your USB thumbdrive. Additionally, when you are finished, it leaves no personal information behind.

The download is only about 5Mb, so it won’t hog up a bunch of space on your thumbdrive. Go to his site and download it and give it a shot!
