Ultimate List of Free Software

As our regular readers will verify, we LOVE free software. In fact, I keep a running list of free software that I come across or that readers alert me to or recommend. My goal was to get it in a format that I could publish on the blog for all to use as a reference.

But today I ran across a great blog called tallyUK. On that blog, I saw a post by Richard entitled “Ultimate Freeware list“. “Ha”, I said, “there is no way YOU have the ultimate list. I have the ultimate list of freeware.” Never-the-less, I clicked on that post title to see what he had to offer.

Let me just say that I stand in awe of his list. Without a doubt, that IS the ultimate freeware list. My list pales in comparison.

In fact, I have scrapped my plans to even publish my list of freeware and will instead simply link to the post on his blog.

I think that there are some specific programs missing from his list, but on the whole, his list is spectacular. If you are looking for free software (and who isn’t these days ;)) you simply must check out his post and plan on spending quite some time investigating the numerous selections that he offers.
