The latest release of DWG TrueView (previously known as DWF Composer) is now available. It allows you to markup and share AutoCad drawings over the Internet. Much more productive :). This post from Beyond the Paper discusses it in more detail. Download a free 30 day trial of the application here.
Autodesk DWF Composer is being renamed to Autodesk Design Review. Autodesk DWG TrueView was never known as Autodesk DWF Composer. When you purchase the latest release of the Autodesk Design Review product, you actually get 4 applications:
1. Autodesk Design Review 2007 – the application formerly known as the Autdoesk DWF Composer application
2. Autodesk DWG TrueView 2007 – originally known as the DWG Viewer
3. Autodesk Inventor View
4. Autodesk DWF Writer
As you can see, items 2 through 4 are available separately. I know all these names are confusing – I’m just trying to help sort them out. It’s always fun when one name is used as both a product and an application.
Thanks for clarifying that Scott. I knew the expert would know how to sort it all out! 😉
