The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has hired Internet Security Systems, of Atlanta, in an effort to determine exactly what information was lost in May when personal information of 26 million veterans was lost after a laptop was stolen.ISS is going to research what type of data the employee was using when the laptop was stolen (along with the external hard drive). Stay tuned to this ongoing investigation.
