Excited consumers are posting comments like that on online message boards as they seem to be unable to find the new Zune anywhere. The 80GB version was just launched Tuesday by Microsoft and there are reports that it has already sold out across the Internet. So, the reported manufacturing delays of the 80GB Microsoft Zune evidently are accurate.

Zune is Microsoft’s challenger to the Apple iPod and, while the 4GB and 8GB versions seem to be plentiful, the new and improved Second generation 80GB Zune seems to be a hot item.
Microsoft says that they concentrated on manufacturing the 4 and 8GB versions. But it could be that they manufactured smaller quantities of the 80GB version to generate some Internet buzz and create some demand.
