Alright some of you may already know this, but Windows Vista is due this fall. Microsoft says it is going to change our world! By change they mean make it more of a pain. While Vista looks good and has vast improvments, the GUI is going to take alot of getting used to. They have changed everything about the GUI all the way down to the font. Also, get ready for a VAST Selecton of Vista Versions. Now we’re not talking Vista Home and Vista Pro. We’re talking 6 Different Versions NOT including 64Bit Versions of the OS.
First, we have Windows Starter Edition 2007. That will pretty much be the lowest grade, other known as Junk or Spyware. Then there will be 2 Versions of Home. Windows Vista Home Basic and Premium. Basic being like XP Home and Premium being like MCE. Then there will be Vista Business, replacing the beloved XP Pro. Windows Enterprise Edition, Mainly for the 50+ Business. Then Windows Vista Ultimate, sources are unsure of what Ultimate may entail, but we all figure it will contain every Vista Feature on the market. Now from Home Basic all the way up to Vista Ultimate, there will be 64Bit Versions of all of them except Starter Edition, which will remain 32Bit Junk.
So, those of you who haven’t been on the Vista watch, there is the latest news on our evolutionary operating system. Also, Windows Defender and Windows Security Center will be standard with all versions of Vista Except the Starter Edition.
