Just the other day, a client an I were talking about the new Apple iPhone. We both were agreeing that it looks super-hot and will be on the “wish list”. But we were both a little uncertain about the batter life of this thing. I mean, it will play video, surf the ‘Net and play music all from a sweet little touch screen with those great Apple icons. Wow! The battery on my regular old cellphone barely lasts a day, how long can the battery last on the iPhone with all that going on?
Well, Apple has announced that the battery will play videos for 7 hours, music for 24 hours or surf the Internet for 6 hours. My laptop won’t even surf for 6 hours! If you want to use the iPhone like a, um, phone, you can talk for 8 hours. Guess that answers my questions.
So, if I can 1) come up with $500 – $600 and 2) pay the $200 early cancellation fee to Alltel and 3) switch to AT&T wireless, I’m in business!
