You may have heard about the conflict between Microsoft Vista and Apple iPod. The problem is that some iPod users have had their units corrupted after disconnecting them using the Microsoft “safely remove hardware” feature. What is an iPod user to do?
According the the Vista blog, help is here! If you use Vista and don’t want to risk crashing your iPod, you can visit Microsoft’s website and immediately download the update that will fix the problem or you can wait until May 22 when Microsoft will be releasing an update automatically.
Since you will be crying the blues if you loose your data despite “safely removing” your hardware, you should probably not wait for the automatic update of this bug.
