If your ears have been burning lately, it may not be because people are talking about you. It may be your cell phone battery overheating if you use a Nokia cell phone.
Nokia has issued a product advisory about their Nokia-branded BL-5C battery manufactured between December ’05 and November ’06 by the Matsushita Battery Industrial Co. Ltd. of Japan. There have been about a hundred reports of these batteries overheating but no reported injuries or damage to property.
This advisory affects 52 models so check out the Nokia web site to see if yours is on the list.
