Yahoo is not sitting back waiting for the next bid from Microsoft. They are launching new products and services. A new addition to the Yahoo Mobile family is called OnePlace and if your phone doubles as a web browser at times, you might want to check this out.
Face it, in their current form the mobile phone browsers are not really good for um.. browsing. Although they are getting better, in most cases you still are better off knowing exactly what you are looking for or exactly where you want to go so you can type in the URL. However, with Yahoo OnePlace, you can quickly and easily bookmark things that you want to have readily available when you are on the Internet using your phone’s browser.
You can do a lot more with it too. It is pretty lightweight so even the clunkiest of phone browsers should have no problem using it.
